Third-Party Contracts | Add option to filter on Security

In the Third-Party module under Contracts, users can view the security status for each contract through visual indicators. However, they are currently unable to filter contracts based on whether specific security documents are present, missing or outdated.

For example, NTT Germany needs to quickly identify which third parties have a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place. At the moment, this requires manual inspection of each contract row. This is inefficient and prone to error, particularly in larger environments with many third parties.

Proposed Solution

Add filtering options in the Contracts table to allow users to:

• Filter based on the presence or absence of specific security artefacts, starting with the DPA.

• Allow filtering by other security items in the same column (for example ISO certificate, backup report, Disaster Recovery plan etc.) in the same unified filter format.

• Filter should allow for looking for multiple documents/artefacts

• Include filter

This should be implemented as part of the existing Filters applied menu.

User Stories

1. As a Third-Party Risk Manager, I want to filter contracts based on whether a DPA is available, so that I can quickly identify which third parties still require one.

2. As a Compliance Officer, I want to filter for missing security artefacts, so that I can prepare evidence for audits more efficiently and ensure regulatory compliance.

3. As a Procurement or Legal stakeholder, I want to view only the contracts with complete security documentation, so that I can approve or renew agreements with confidence.

Acceptance Criteria

• A new filter option is available in the Contracts filter menu named Security documents.

• Security documents can be selected individually, starting with DPA.

• When the filter is applied, the Contracts list updates accordingly.

• Filter state is visible under Filters applied at the top of the page.

• Filtering must work consistently with pagination and search.

• Data Export also works when applying the filter
